Hello forum. I’ve been tied up on several long projects - one of which required ripping 6” lengths of 1x1 strips to serve as small drawer glides. Anyway- I kept getting small cutoffs falling down into the recess of the blade on the CSC SYS 50. At the time I was thinking make a zero clearance but I just pushed through. Today, while watching the latest Keith Johnson video while waiting for a material delivery, he showed that Spencley Designs released a zero clearance insert for the CSC SYS 50 and I thought I’d share (after I grabbed 2

And yes I am still loving the CSC SYS 50 after almost 2 years. The best job I used it on was in the last 2 weeks. I set up a ‘pinewood derby build day’ for my daughters Girl Scout Troop. Many of the girls in the troop wanted to enter the upcoming pinewood derby but didn’t have the knowledge or tools. so we helped about 15 entrants with cutting their blocks. Having the CSC SYS 50 was awesome as I didn’t have to worry about power. For those who wanted wedge shaped cars- a sled and the sliding table was a perfect combo. All in all the best use I have gotten from the tool yet.
