Magazines, memberships for cabinetmaking?

Is there a good magazine targeted at cabinetmaking techniques and tools that is more modern that I should be getting? YouTube and Instagram are great but I guess what I'm after is a subscription that's focused with the craft and tradespeople in mind that makes use of modern tools, techniques, and materials.

I have lots of books but they're dated. I want see more stuff relatable to the guys with work vans/mobile shops building on site cabinetry using Festool/Mafell/Lamello type gear.

The closest I've found to this is via NS Builders on YouTube. They've been doing a weekly Revealed episode where they show their approach to cabinetry and explain why they do things the way they do. It's been great.

Regarding Fine Woodworking, many woodworkers sell or give away their collections after switching to the digital (USB) format. Check CraigList or the like to see if anyone dumps them. Before I gave mine all away free to a local club, I tried listing the some 150 issues for $40 Cdn on Kijiji, but nobody wanted them. [sad]

By the way, like all other magazines, FW recycles its topics and projects although they may be done by different woodworkers. But most of the techniques are more or less the same. So the older issues (say. issues #100 - #200) are just as educational/informative as those published in the last 5 years or so.
 
[member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] - Matt, I’ve been giving away my FW & FHB mags to interested “young guns” at times….if you’re not familiar or would like to be, you can ‘have’ as many as you like…we’re not too far away shipping won’t be a big deal…just sayin
 
[member=41086]Vondawg[/member] Very kind of you to offer. I have the digital versions just haven't read through them. But based on all the votes they're getting maybe I should.

I was wondering if there was something targeted toward guys that don't have all the big traditional machinery like cabinet tablesaws, bandsaws, drill presses, planers/jointers. I see a lot of guys on IG without that stuff making some really nice built ins using Festool/Mafell/Lamello gear.
 
The majority of contributors to FW are furniture makers, doing that for a living or as instructors. To do so starting with rough lumber, planers, table saws or sliders, drill presses, etc. are indispensable. As far as I can guess, track saws may be seen in 1% or less of all the articles ever published in FW.

Many cabinet projects are covered in FW, but most of them are built of hardwood material, not plywood (except the backs).
 
My strongest recommendation would be a subscription to WoodSmith.
While I have every issue from the very beginning, I would now rely on their accumulated issues on a thumb drive.

Each issue contains detailed plans that include illustrated techniques that are invaluable learning opportunities.

The biggest challenge for anyone interested in cabinetmaking is adapting old plans to new techniques and methods, the Domino system the most frequent issue.

The next step, then, might be to learn a drawing program such as Sketch Up to clean up old plans with cut mortises and tenons and adapt to Domino joinery.

Lastly, from my personal experience, I had to confront the retro-generational matter of growing up relying entirely on manuals and written articles. Grudgingly, I now  find I can learn anything or find something to build  from some Video, particularly on You Tube. If you set out to build a toy box for a youngster. merely Google "Toy Box" or "DIY Toy Box" and you will be building the next day! No subscription, no book, no memberships.
