Making an Oak swing with inlay

That's really cool

Nice shop too. Is that a scissor jack for a car as the router lift

Thanks VW Mick!

Yes, that's a car jack lift. (Acquired for the total sum of €5 from a flea market  ;)
The jack goes perfectly with the of1400 spring.

That was a fun video to watch - nice project something we can all picture making for kids or grandkids.  Good technique and nice shop, all in all a very enjoyable with a morning coffee.

Thx Kevin

Great design!!  I'm going to steal your principle for a cutting board I need to make.  Very nice shop...first time I've seen the Plano panel clamping rack in one other than mine.  Your router table is a great self made project in a room full of great machines.  I'm getting ready to put a deposit on a A3 41 as they are on sale here in the US.  Hope to see more of your projects.

Thank you for the nice comments!
rst, something like this maybe  [tongue]

Made this as a Christmas gift to a friend in 2014

Kind regards,
Mauri

Inspirational - not only swings, but table tops, cutting boards and other surfaces.

Make sure to cut end grain plugs when doing an end grain board. But indeed, sky is the limit!

Thanks

hey, dirst let me say that your work is top shelf!
where can I get the drills that you used to cut the inlays? on youtube video is on 3:05.

Enjoyed watching this. I'm inspired by the techniques and the tools. The wonderful roomy and orderly shop is great too.

Thanks for showing..

Love your videos... still not quite got round to making the mobile caster fixings like yours.. was a good reminder to see how easily you could full the Felder out!

Were those Gransfors axes I spotted on the wall - loving my small splitting axe from them
