Guy, you wont believe this but i have loads of W.I.P pics but i cant get them onto my laptop.  It turns out my hard drive is full & no more room for pics  [crying]
I need to suss out why its full & get rid of some stuff.  Never made much progress today, too many visitors in the workshop + i had to go in to a funeral parlor to measure up for a new stair.  You get days like that though eh !

Pics soon, i promise  ;)

Since when can stiffs climb stairs, or are you making the original "Stairway to Heaven" [bite tongue] [bite tongue]

Never mind mate, when I worked in Germany part of the job was coffin making and putting the new owners in place, dresssing as required and even collection from their place of succombment. Saw things I'd rather not have but it all adds perspective on the world we live in.
Least you only had to measure up a stair! ;D

And no! I do not have pics or WIP's from those occasions.  [laughing]

A few more Pic's.

Usually done on a panel saw but the Kapex and MFT/3 work well together.

Then ran the glazing beads 15x15mm, 45° bevel leaving a very small flat at the corners rough cut on CMS with TS55 then got little Betty out
to finish the job with a jig...

Fitted the sash in one window that was needed on site,

The sash was removed and will be given capillary grooves and painted/ glazed before installing.
Will try and post more at the weekend.

Can't wait for more pics, thanks about the tip for the sill-jig!! I think I can use it in my upcoming project!

Nice work Rob.  Is that knotting fluid you have put on ?

Woodguy

Yes. As pointed out by Guy a lot of the redwood coming in these days is a bit resinous and as it was going to be painted on site thought it best to do that for them. [laughing]

Hi Rob,

You just sent me here from another thread - excellent work.

Could you do a video tutorial on window and door work - it would be really good to see your work in more detail.

Peter

Peter, thanks but I am no videographer, taken me years to get half decent stills!
I do like to write when I get time, like my PDF on tenons which has been downloaded over 6000 times from the FOG  [eek]
TENONS
I have another write up in the works but it is on hold until after we move house.

atb, Rob.

Hi Rob,
