I use mine almost daily, great little saw, good battery life, very manageable. Overall a really good saw, and I would buy another without hesitation.
The only quibbles I have, no laser or worklight, although I’ve now added an inertia type laser, and it’s improved using the saw greatly. Also, remember to swivel the sub fence out of the way, when bevel cutting.
I forgot recently, and had to buy a new sub fence and blade [blink]
I also have that saw and like it a lot. It has plenty of power and good battery life with 2 5.0's. Dust collection is also very good with the included bag.
That’s correct Mario, it’s an 18 volt x 2, 36 volt. You must use two batteries to operate it but, they can be various ampage and of different levels of charge. They just need to both be 18 volt.
In the UK, they are sold with chargers and batteries, or as a bare unit.
I have a lot of cordless Makita, including some in the 36 volt range. We have around 40 batteries and a lot of single and twin port chargers, so I bought my saw as a bare unit.
I recently tried the 10” version of the saw, and was trully amazed at it’s cutting power.
