Hi, I need your advice
I have a 20 year old SCM slide in table..Yes, I know it is time to upgrade...

Last month I went to the woodworking show in Las vegas; but I am still undecided.
What's your opinion between Martin Prex and  Felder E-motion with optimizer software?
Martin is about $12 000,00 more without tech support, installation, and optimizer.
Both have the same amount of axes.

Would you mind sharing your experiences?

I'm a little Felder biased as I've owned 6 pcs of their equipment and currently have 4 in the shop. I don't personally think you could go wrong with either company. It appears to me Martin is trying to revive themselves adopting Felders sales and marketing techniques. In both machines the computers rule over the machine operation so support and service should be key. I know the Felder input software is easy to use and from the Martin website it looks like its easy to use. Good Luck with your decision. Just as an aside, is a 5 axis computer controled machine something where you will be constantly using all the functions to it full potential or is the main function straight panel cutting?

This might not be the best forum for this question.  I would post on woodweb.com if you haven't already.

From my understanding Martin is the top dog......but jumping 12k is a big jump.  Maybe you aren't looking apples to apples.
