Maxi Systainer question

Very specific question/favor.  Does anyone have a Maxi and a Stanley #8 plane and tell me if the plane will fit?  Either laying on its side or right side up?

a maxi is the same size as two normal sys sitting back to back. they will sit on top and latch on. you could try the plane on topp of two normal sys
