Maybe I'm late...but I saw this for the first time yesterday

Hey, I've been out of the game of tool news for a while, but I stopped by Tooltown in Paramus, NJ yesterday and saw the multimaster in a dedicated Fein sys1. I had seen this online NAINA, but saw it up close with my own eyes. I've been trying to minimize the tools I have in preparation for a move to the midwest, but this was tempting!!

We have it for $299. The non-Systainer version is $349, hence me saying it's a good deal.

Steven, it's just a good deal from Fein. It's a limited edition version with the Systainer and the pricing is better. Same accessories on both offerings, just whether it comes with a Systainer or a Fein case.

Systainer version not available in Aust., as far as I have looked on line. Some dealers asking to email the customer a special price on case version, and one Aussie dealer on eBay offering the case version for - A$469 [size=16pt]which is approx. US$332.00.  [smile]

I think it just might be a great promotion...the systainer was packed with stuff. Kind of regret not picking it up...I would order, but NY tax is crazy (for NYers that is).

Shane - Your site shows the Systainer version at $449.00 not $299.00.  Is there a back door price?  And the one in the Fein case appears to come with more goodies.  Help me out where to find the $299.00 version with the same goodies.

I'm not sure but I'm heading to tool town later this week...i'll see how much I really need it when I see it again. Never hurts to have a multimaster.
