Go oldschool! Mayline professional heavy duty metal drafting table. Large 3ft x 6ft rubberized drawing surface w/pencil tray, the table tilts to lay flat or vertical and also elevates so you can draw from a seated or standing position.

It has a big flat drawer for storing drawings and 2 file drawers. This is a serious table, great for drawing, crafts, etc., can even be used for an assembly table.

Drafting machine is track-type Mutoh Model-S.

I spent quite a bit of time on the old wooden Hamiltons, wishing I had something that nice.

wow nice, my project is to build one for myself. this price is  a steal though. i'm no where near you or we'd be talking. just thought i'd comment.

Yeah, there's something therapeutic about sketching out rough ideas or doing plans with pencil & paper. I looked for a looong time before finding this table and then drove 2 hours to pick it up. I hate to see it go but we're in the process of down-sizing...maybe I can convince her to get rid of the dining room table instead?
