The Festool Printables page (here) has a number of items for the MB40. I can't figure out the purpose of the copy ring (Item 3). It comes in two sizes, 25mm and 30mm, each with a centering pin. What is it for? Pics attached.
...aside from the obvious application of drilling a smaller hole centred inside an existing bigger 25/30 hole....which seems like a rather narrow use case.
