McFeely screw assortment in Systainer 1

These guys also sell screws in sets. They don't come in systainers but they do come in a nice metal box, you can always tranfer to a systainer.

You could do that. I'd rather you'd do this:

Silver, Gold & Steel Edition with Sortainer Option

And that's a price that's hard to beat. The best news is I have more I'll be posting today. I've decided not to send an email for a few days. Instead, you all (the Festool Faithful) have 1st crack!

Is it my browser, or...  I tried to add the Sortainer w/YZ plating to my cart and it added two.  I tried to delete one and it deleted both.  I tried again, then tried zeroing out one and updating, but it wouldn't take.

Mine did the same thing.

They also have a Kreg Screw selection that is doing the same thing.  Any idea if shipping will be free for orders >$150?

Uh oh! I have my IT guy looking into it now. Hang in there. I'll post the Kreg assortment in just a few moments.

Here's the Kreg version, by the way -> Kreg Systainer & Sortainer Options

S&H on these items will be free so long as the order for Festool items is more than $150. In other words, grab 2 for free S&H.

The Kreg version is working correctly when added to the cart, the other one with 1300 is still adding two to the cart, if it were 2 for 1 then that would be fine. ;D

It's all fixed now. Apparently, the CFO just felt as if you all should be willing to spend more $$ than I had planned. He saw my prices and thought "That can't be right!!!"

Seriously, just a bug! We're good.

Next up will be:

1) The MDF/melamime screw assortment -> Click here for product
2) The Combo (square & Phillips) screw assortment -> Click here for product
3) The McFeely's pocket-hole assortment, including McFeely's pocket hole stainless steel screws.

Ron,

Is item 2 your version of Spax, or are you still working on the Spax screws?

VIjay

The #8 screws in that assortment share many characteristics with SPAX, including serrated threads and a combo recess. However, the SPAX screws do have a number of unique features with which I'm pretty impressed.

Truth be told, there's room for both and (hopefully) you will see SPAX assortments in my catalog very soon. Both parties are agreeable. It's just a matter of working it all out.

Ok, folks!

Here is what makes up the 2nd wave of our Festool/McFeely's assortments. All of our choices can be accessed here. It took some doing to get good quantities of everything made up but I'm giving my Festool friends the 1st crack at everything. We will not send out a general email until at least Tuesday of next week. I hope I've put together some assortments you all will find useful.

And, as always, keep the ideas coming. SPAX is on the way as well as Torx-licensed fasteners. 2008 should be a fun year for McFeely's and I hope we can continue to develop this program.

Ron,

The prices are missing for the McFeelys pocket hole screw assortments.

:) Where would the world be without computers? I've been in and out of meetings for most of the day and this has been one of those days in which if it could go wrong on the Internet, it has.

But the good news is this one is something I can fix from home.

And I have. Thanks for letting me know about that. The page is now updated.

You guys are a great bunch!

And you're rather great too!  Nice sets, and available in either Systainers or Sortainers -- Sweet!  Kind of a 'win-win' thing with your responce to the requests here in the FOG.

Thanks!
Corwin

Oh, and do expect a call from me on Monday.

Where do they hide there prices?  I viewed several of their sets and did not see a single link to their pricing.  Do you have to estblish an e-commerce account first?

My first set is on order.  I went with the Kreg/Sortainer set and some DTS400 paper as i couldn't quite justify adding the 1300 piece/Sortainer too.  Looks like a great deal though.  It's on the list.  I hope this isn't a limited time offer.

Ron, would you mind sharing how these sets are received?  I'm curious as to the buying power of this group.  And please keep us informed of the Spax partnership.

Thanks!
