met the Las Vegas instructor

At a local tool store last weekend, (KMS tools, Coquitlam B.C. Canada)  they had a tool show. I spent about an hour at the Festool booth. I met the Las Vegas instructor,  I think his name is Steve? (sorry, can't remember) anyway what a great guy! solved some problems I was having with my Festool 1400 router ie: how to.

He also showed me how to set up the parallel guides, de-mystified the whole thing. It's now on my "gotta get" list.

Next day I took my wife back there (free parking, free entry) and showed her the planex. I think that's gonna happen sooner than later, as she want's all the popcorn off of our ceilings. oh darn guess that'd be me doing that work LOL

That is Steve Bace, the Festool Trainer from Henderson, NV which adjoins Las Vegas.

From Lebanon, IN that is Brian 'The Sedge' Sedgeley.

  Correct,  as mentioned, that's Steve Bace. If memory serves correctly, his background is Solid Surface. I think Brian's background is cabinet making. Brian's nickname is Curly; and I'm guessing because some might say he looks like Curly from the 3 Stooges - I think he's aware  of that because at any given moment he does break into that "Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck thingee/routine. He's quite funny actually, Steve's sense of humor is there - just way more laid back. Both are great, know ledgable and helpful  guys, definitely assets for Festool.
