          I had posted on another thread that I would like to see if I couldn't convince some people at Toyota that a Festool sander was what they needed. I met with the assistant manger over paint, and had a small presentation for him on the LEX 2 150/7, and the LEX 2 185/7. He seemed very impressed, and had little concern that a setup for one sanding station with ct-33 would probably run over $1000. He was going to take the papers I had printed off to some of the people that use the sanders and their management, to see their opinion. It is like setting up a blind date, and hoping they get along. I would love to see some Festools in the Toyota plant, I'm sure if they got to use them, they would not go back to what they use now.

I'm looking forward to hearing how that IAS 2 hose works in production.  Imagine the quantity of Titan those guys would be using.

You might also hand them your 2008 catalog when it arrives.  I'm sure Festool wouldn't mind sending you another one.  You can make do with the PDF, which is now available.

What are they using now?  Dynabrade or an other air sander?

I don't really know, he said it looked like a good replacement for their d a sanders, beyond that, I really don't know, they looked heavy though. Now if you want to know all about the paint guns I use, I could probably go on and on about those.
