Metal baseplate insert for the Trion/PS300 jigsaws.

Any chance Festool could consider making a metal baseplate insert for the Trion/PS300 type jigsaws?

I know the Carvex baseplate set comes with a metal baseplate insert that can be switched out, but the Trion only has the plastic inserts, and the Trion if I'm not mistaken is considered the more sturdily made jigsaw. Cutting metal or even rough wood can chew the plastic insert up very quickly. The design of the insert is also not flat on the back, so it's not really an easy do it yourself retrofit.

Cut the form from a sheet of aluminium and round the corners, then double-sided tape it to the original base?

Yea I wouldnt mind one of those for the Trion either.
