It has been a long wait but finally, the Meterex folding rules have arrived and are ready for sale!

I decided to bring in two different styles...

I have the G52 with the slider for inside measurements and also angles.

I also brought in the LM1, which is a metric folding rule with two bright LEDs in the tip. It is billed as "The longest torch in the world". It seemed too cool to pass on...

I am not familiar with the product and can't tell from the pictures online, do these rules have a "hook" on the end to measure from the end of a board or are they made to use for inside measurements only.

Ordered me the G52... thanks for getting these in Tom.

Have a great weekend.

They are a typical folding rule, which means they are stiff plank-like pieces that pivot on one another so they fold up or extend. There's no hook on any folding rule that I've seen.

Tom, check your email!

Do you remember years ago when we scoured the internet for a folding metric rule with extension? I'm glad you were able to find these, and thanks for taking the gamble and imported some for us.

Tom,
I want to order one of each but would also like to wait for a 3m Talmeter and order them together. I'm in no hurry and can wait, but I don't want to miss out on these Meterex rules. Please advise.

Thanks,

Daniel

I have a bunch of the Meterex products and I don't see them being depleted before I get more of the Hultafors. I'm expecting the Hultafors to arrive within the next couple of weeks.

Since this is my first foray into these, I'm not certain. If you want me to set something aside, please just ask...

Tom

I ordered the 2m Talmeter with my Meterex... I figured I'd try out the 2m and just order the 3m and 6m later if I like it. :)

I got an email this morning that the 6m and 3m Talmeters are leaving Hultafors today. They should be here in about a week, I think...

Got mine today. Very, very crisp!!

Angle and depth gauge will come in handy. Thanks for the prompt service as usual Tom!!

Just received my Meterex LMI Lightrule - thank you for the quick shipping Tom.

I'll try to post some photos of the illumination soon.

Quick shipping, thanks Tom. Product looks nice. My only complaints are the ends are rounded and not cut to a 90 degree and the number system doesn't end with a whole centimeter.  Using this to get inside measurements will be a bit cumbersome IMO. I am tempted to grind the ends flat.....

In the photo a couple of posts above, what is the purpose of the 45 being red? A quick Google search was not helpful.

Those numbers along the bottom are angles. They are for when you have it in "angle mode".

45 being the most "common" angle.

Cheers. Bryan.
