I just got an MFK 700 and like it.  I'm actually making a guitar and thought I might be able to use it to cut the sound hole.  I've seen a few circle cutting jigs that work with the MFK 700 but they only go down to 6" or bigger.  Anyone have any thoughts on this before I go all engineering and create some custom shop jig?

One alternative is Microfence.com. Give them a call on their website.

They have a circle cutter that will go down to about 1 inch with most routers.  It.s expensive but you can do it.  Awesome products.

You might just consider doing a template of a round hole and drum sanding it smooth and using a guide bushing to cut inside the template.

That is the more cost effective alternative.
