A buddy made a few improvements on using this one:
- Used 2mm longer bolts
- Used a ball-ended long hex wrench
Those improvements eliminated the faff on adjusting the tracks.
Thanks @luvmytoolz I was not familiar with Temu.
@Coen I did find a retailer in Germany that ships to the U.S. but at almost twice the cost of the Woodpeckers it was more than I could justify paying.
They do pop up from time to time on Amazon. I bought mine with free shipping.

If I remember correctly the Festool router template sets are rebranded Virutex ones. Maybe there is a supplier in the States that has them?

I happened to have gotten one of SpeTool's Cratos sleds from another woodworker. Haven't used it yet but I am impressed with the quality of the components.

Oooh. That looks good. But seems hard to get, even in Europe. Oh well, I already have the MFS 400... but still need to use it.If I remember correctly the Festool router template sets are rebranded Virutex ones. Maybe there is a supplier in the States that has them?
Still in doubt if I should route my own stairs for new-build home or just buy a package for self assembly..

I have both the 400 and the 700 (Festool branded). Bought them off Marktplaats (Dutch Craigs List). So I am future proof, I guess, although I would like the 100 cm rails to complete my collection…
