Hi,

I bought a used MFT/3 that's in great condition but the legs seem out of alignment.  Is this normal?  Or was it set up wrong?  Table folds normally and seems sturdy, but if you look at the pictures it seems like something is wrong.

Thanks,
Rich

Definitely racked. Try to bend them back. Might have to reweld or weld supports in after as that takes a decent amount of force. You could always buy a new leg, but why not just fix what ya' got?

Thanks, everyone.  If I bend the leg is it likely that they will snap?  Should I remove it and bend in a vice vs. while connected to the table.  I'll look again, but I wasn't even clear which one was bent.

In case it deconstructs in your attempt to fix it: #494727 (~65€) is the spare for that leg pair (includes the normal and the height adjustment foot).

Use a 48" clamp set diagonally and gently "convince" it to go back into square.

I would take it off and clamp the cross brace in a vise and bend each leg individually with each leg alternated to be clamped close to the joint.  I think you get more feel and control doing that way.  My concern with trying to rack it back in place is you actually have to go 'beyond' vertical due to springbuck and tougher to get it square.

Good luck!
