All MDF, wood, aluminium sections used are leftovers from jobs, the ladder was surplus to requirements, the heavy duty industrial castors were given to me. 

I reckon the first 7 items cost about £1,500 so that makes £1,600 for the whole lot. The MFT legs sold for £80 on eBay and I have 2 x 1080 guide rails and a set of guide rail brackets and those daft guide rail deflector things that can also all go to eBay...

Erring on the side of caution and allowing for everything I may have overlooked this entire set up cost about a grand and a half. £1,500 buys three MFT/3 tables, but they won't do what this can.

Where did you get the aluminum rail with scale? Does it work with the mft miter?

The extension fence with the scale is the regular fence that comes with the MFT/3 SET, it has a UJK measurement scale attached to it, it is fixed with t-bolts to a section of 40x40mm aluminium which in turn is fixed to the LH extension table.  There are 2 protractors holding the other fence to the MFT/3s, so to answer your question, yes, it is the type of fence that could be used with the mitre gauge.

The reason for so many flag stops  - this thing makes bookcases etc. etc. and I set the flags to correspond with the end of the board and rout the dado for each shelf.

What a great setup!  Can you post some pictures of the connection between the MFT/3's and the extension tables?  Also, could you share some photos of the underside of the extension tables?  Thanks.

Piece of 3x2 attaches to the MFT T-track with T-bolts, this is left permanently on the MFT as it makes setting up really quick and easy. It's 18mm below the height of the MFT work surface and the extension tables rest on top and are then held firmly in place with 3 x M6 bolts screwed in to threaded inserts in the 3x2. A ladder was chopped up and used as the leg and also for box section to strengthen the underside of the extension tables. The leg operates just like the Kapex UG extensions with a bolt to set the correct angle.
