[size=10pt]G'Day guys...here's a handy tip for you MFT 3 owners, when I set up my MFT rails on my custom made MFT 3 bench and attached the holders for the rail ( my rail is 1400 ) not the 1080.
When I lifted the rail I noticed there is a bit of pressure on the little "hook" thingy that hooks over the v profile. This hook thingy is called a "Plate" #474036 part and only $7.57 AUD each so the one next to it is only a 1/4" nut?....Hook one side nut the other....that seems weird like having all the swing pressure on one side????....so I ordered 2 extra ones. Change the nut for an extra plate and now a much better solution solved, the pressure is now evened out on both sides ....Can't understand Festool logic sometimes? Surely 2 hooks grabbing over a rail is better than one. You can see in my pics.
