The post stating the mft dog holes are poor in tolerance (both diameter and x/y) and out of square in location is shocking. Is this fact or hype to sell jigs/fixtures to make your own top? If to is true, the holes are for clamping use only, not square the track to mft fence, not making sq cuts; nothing but clamping. Can anyone confirm this?

The grid on mine is as accurate as anything I've got available to measure with.  Bought 6mo ago.

As for the diameter- you can feel a change in the snugness with a hole that's oversized by just a few 0.001".  My dog holes are all basically identical.

So, the MFT I've got is as close to perfect as sintered wood is ever gonna get.

My MFT is as square as my Woodpeckers squares can measure. If had it for many years. Excellent product.

I've had mine 4 or 5 years and it is spot-on accurate
