Walko IV is great workbench if available purchase it. When placed upon Stanley sawhorses it's an effective workbench for dimensioning sheet goods etc......

I have three mfts and if something happened to one they would be replaced next day. I do mostly custom kitchens and they have just become a regular aspect of our install method. They go into clients homes and keep our process consistent and organized. We use two of the extensions from the work station that also clip onto the rails of the MFT to add workspace when we need it and also the ug wings when we are cutting molding sometimes. I have looked at the dashboard system a bunch but with their basic set up the smaller footprint of the mft works better for us. I see they now have a shorter version which may be more in line with what we do but at this point all of our jigs and racking is made for the MFTs so not much reason to switch.
We do move them into the shop when we are between installs and use them in there, some times for cross cutting sometimes just for extra work surface. If you are never going to move it the portability may not be a selling point for you. It is key to our use of it. In the shop we have a workbench that is the correct height that we can bring the mft in and set it on it without putting down the legs and it is the correct height to work with the extension tables and kapex wings if we need. We just pick them up and put them in the rack in the trailer when we head to do the install.
The price is not nothing. But they earn their keep and we spend more in screws in a year then we have invested in those tables. money well spent.

I don't move it much, but appreciate the space it leaves free underneath. I could build a standard bench with cabinets but that space wouldn't be as flexible. I could use sawhorses with a MDF top, but the space that legs takes up is silly. Kinda weird that the most prized aspect I ended up getting was floor space.
I just ordered one after seeing the possibilities on a demoday.
Now waiting for delivery and thinking about ordering additional table. Can't figure out what would be best, another MFT3 (basic) or 2 extensions (about the same price).
I read that the extensions (TSB/1-MW) don't have the same dogholes (spacing)? Anyone who can confirm and state if they bother about it or it does(n't) cause frustrations?

The extensions have the same holes and spacing, they're just not very easy to line up with the main table if you need to do so.
For that matter, they're not 100% easy to line up with the MW-1000's table, either, but it hasn't bothered me yet.
I have a few MFTs, an MW-1000 with extension, and a couple of free-floating extensions. One extension hangs out in the shed to be attached to a wall cleat if I need a bench in there, one extension stays in the MW-1000, and the other actually fits juuuuust right folded inside the MFT legs.
Depends on if you have a greater need for the stability of two tables joined together or need the extra length that a pair of extension tables would afford, but at the expense of a bit of stability (it's not that they're unstable, but they're definitely narrower).
I made my own braces using 8020 quick frame and thick ABS plastic. Mine run from opposite sides to top and bolted thru middle where they bypass, made the table rock solid. This allowed me to use quick frame that has integral U channel to make shelves on both sides that I can store systainers on both sides. I think some years ago I posted pics but have not spent time to figure out why I can longer attach.

The MFT is very good for each of them.
They make a great door bench for installing and routing out doors.
It is very good for cutting ply for cabinets and clamping the pieces together for assembling them.
If you make furniture and build drawers the the MFT is exceptional for making drawer pieces and if you have a domino clamping drawer fronts and sides to make through tenons ILO dove tails.
I have 3 of them full size MFT 3s and a Kapex MFT.
When you combine a MFT with the STM 1800 you have unlimited choices in what you can do with them.
Only limited by your imagination.
