MFT hole pattern clamping and assembly table extension, 16" wide and 6' 6" long, with 5" capacity woodworking vice. Saw horses are clamped to the 8' x 4' stationary table with 2 clamps in to a t-track and the extension table is then clamped to the saw horses with a pair of Besseys. I expected it would take 6 to 8 clamps to really secure it, yet it's very stable with just the 4 clamps. Extends the 48'' wide table to 64" and up to 94" at the far end of the saw horse. Could also be used independently of the 8' x 4' if required, but I expect the 46" wide saw horses would become a pain.

LR-32 with guide rail dogs was used to make the MFT grid pattern. There's 3 coats of Danish oil on the surface so glue cleans off easier, it's water repellent and it makes it look all new and nice and shiny...

My goodness that's awesome!
I wonder what it would be like if the vertical sections of the table were able to swivel to various adjustable angles. That way, you'd be able to handle the assembly of odd sized projects...

What a great idea- now I know what to do with the extra bench vise I have.  Hope you don't mind me stealing/modifying your idea.

The modifications I have in mind are making it mobile (a must for my shop) and potentially building storage for systainers underneath.

Regards,
Gerald

Thank you. As for steal/modify - I do it all the time, the internet is brilliant for sharing ideas. I got the idea from Ron Paulk's portable bench, I definitely need a wider assembly table and I really wanted a big woodworking vice after doing without one for ages. I wanted it to stand on the saw horses I already had and be level with the 8'x4' table. It is only for workshop use but easily moved for storage and quickly set up when a large clamping and assembly table is ever required.
