Hi, quick question on MW 1000 owners. Can you take this part off and attach to side?
I'm trying to have more horizontal space when I attach this to MFT 3 table.

The aluminium profile is the same right the way around so there is nothing stopping you from moving the connector from the end to a side. Not sure how stable it would be, but you can definitely move it.

Perfect! I'm planning to connect it as attached image :) I don't have much space when extension connects its long end to my existing table.  So I was thinking of connecting on its side and add extra support/leg on the corner.

One thing I never see mentioned is it also nests inside the legs of a MFT/3. I have two MFT/3's and the MW1000 extension table. The extension works well for me, but you will need to level with shims sometimes depending on floor flatness.

If not cost prohibitive maybe get a second connector to create a more stable connection between the MFT and MW1000.

Thanks for the advise. I tried to turn leg riser (the white part) to make it rise/lower but it doesn't turn at all.  Is there a certain way to do it?

No, they won't work on the MW 1000. I think he meant get a second MW 1000 connector as a spare part.

Ah thanks! Do you know where I can order this from US?

That would be part # 204241 (EKAT), called "Verbinder" (Connector) @ around € 18,00.

Any Festool-dealer should be able to order it for you. Please note that there is often a no-return clause involved.
Thanks I'll check out dealers if they can order it for me :)

I use the MFT/3 fence, guide rail, etc. on the MW1000 when laying floors (there was an  800 mm rail bundled with my track saw). I have connected the MW1000 table to the MFT table for longer pieces. The side table fits on all sides of the MW1000 and MFT, that interoperability is what I love about the system.
