What happened to the folding extension for the MFT?  Is it still available, and will it work with the MFT-3?  I saw it on Brice Burrell's site, attached to an older MFT1080 I believe, and it looks like a handy add-on, but I can't find it online.

The MFT-VL, I believe is was called, it no longer offered. I don't know the reason or have any additional information about it. Sorry.

Bob, I fairly certain it was discontinued with the release of the MFT/3 tables.  That's too bad because it is a real handy accessory.  If you spend some time searching you'll probably be able to find a dealer that has one in stock.

BTW, you can modify it to work with the MFT/3 with a 1/2" shim.

I would guess the shim is to accommodate the difference in height from the MFT1080/800 to the MFT 3. Or at least a difference in height from the table top to the bar that the support rests on.

That is correct the height from the track to the top is 1/2" more on the mft3.
