For the MFT users, is there clear space on the supplied fence for an adhesive tape measure? I'm on the verge of buying one, but we can only buy the full 'set' here now, so want to use as much of it as possible, rather than replacing everything with aftermarket. At this stage I'd like to make use of the supplied fence set up, but tweak the rail hinges with the TSO upgrade kit.
Only other option I could think of was to attach a length of Incra T-Track Plus to the top of the fence, if the supplied Festool swing stops will fit.
Any info greatly appreciated.

There's not a defined space for that intent. There is enough space to add a tape to the tall face; it'd be trickier to get something in position for the small face.

If you're collapsing and putting the MFT away frequently, you may find a tape isn't worth the effort, as you'd be recalibrating the fence every time you set up. It might be just as quick to mark a cut on one piece and use the flag stop to mark the distance for all repeat cuts. Of course, if you're setting the table up permanently, then it's a different story.

I wouldnt put a tape on mine unless it was  permanent and you werent going to move it, disassemble i etc.

What I would suggest is mark the fence with general dims say 12", 16" and  24". Then use a tape to fine adj to size. Id also suggest getting multiple flag stops you could set at the general lengths.

Not perfect but its a idea

I have one on my fence.  Started it at 1" on the right edge of the fence and adjust it to the track for an accurate reference.  I seldom remove the fence from my table so it stays accurate and works nicely with the drop stop sliders.  I believe I got the adhesive tape from Fastcap.
