Will the replacement tables for the old 1080 and 800 MFT's still be available after the MFT/3 take over?

Yes they will. I am told Festool has a contract to make available parts for discontinued items for seven years. Others have been told three years.

Maybe a dealer can clarify this time line, is it three or seven years?

The UK Festool 2007/2008 catalogue states:

because they are so durable. All
spare parts for every machine type are
available for up to seven years after
the product is discontinued. However,
essential spare parts for all machines
are available for even longer.
Ask your local specialist dealer
should you require assistance.
