MFT style drill jig

I just noticed lee valley added a parf guide drilling guide set on their website.  Add some short parf dogs and you can build your own MFT pretty easily.  From the looks of it, you should be able to easily use this to extend beyond the 1 meter limit of the rules since it comes with 3 indexing pins.  It looks like a well thought out jig for building custom sized MFT style table tops.

When you log on to Lee Valley look up towards the right in the top banner and you will see a Canadian flag or a USA flag, and that tells you the currency.

You can go beyond 1 metre with no problem at all - take a look at the various videos and you can see how to go about it. You might also like to look at the video of the 4 cut test (some call it the 5 cut test) which was done in one unedited shot (which makes it a bit boring - sorry). It demonstrates the high degree of accuracy achieved. I have kept every piece of wood cut and they are in a sealed bag and can be inspected at any time. The markings on those pieces of wood are unique and are shown clearly in the video.
