I started thinking this morning( dangerous thing), if festool makes it available in europe and now people own them.that means tanos makes it! tanos eu website lists a sys-plate#80101549.then I call frank ,from tanos n.a.,he's say tanos only sells the plate, not the whole systainer. leevalley#68k4427 @$35.00.retail shipping for this in a couple weeks.this is a great thing for someone with a broken lid.me I don't want to wait till spring for the n.a intro as the mft-sys

John,

It's not the same thing. The MFT top that Tanos now sells is just a piece of ply with routered lugs on that allow it to be fixed on top of a classic systainer. It is not compatible with t-locs. See Here.

The new sys1 with MFT top that Festool now sells is a completely different animal.

lee valley called me yesterday, apparently the holes are tenth of a mm to small.they are sending me replacements.this is one of those times that exceeding exceptions has made them the great company to do business with.

this tops festool customer service, which I didnt think was possible.lee valley calls me today, since the  sysplate is not going to be sold,I can't have a replacement.so instead of four for two,its two for zero.way cool
