Ok I think I'm going buggy but I thought I remember hearing that the MFT3 manual sucks and someone posting enhanced directions.  Or was it the MFT1080?  Anyhoo, spent the better part of 30 minutes searching to no avail.  Can some one post a link to the thread  see vous play?  (Not Qwas's .pft)  Old Dominion trucking called and said they'll be delivering mine in the manana and want to get it up and running directly.  Thanks.

Oh gosh darn it!  I feel so stupid with all this internet search jargon.  After I posted I found what I remember seeing some time back....a video on Youtube here..  My bad.

Hey Jim, Slightly OT but I recently learned that manana does not necessarily mean 'tomorrow'. Most often, in the course of a sentence it means 'not today'. Not a big deal, but if someone tells you something will be done 'manana' it does not mean they are promising 'tomorrow'.

MFT3 setup is not that difficult. Use one of the 1349 different squares referenced here over the last couple years then make a cut. Check the cut and adjust for the real world.

Reminds me of what my grandfather would say when my grandmother wanted him to do something.

He'd reply "I'll get to it directly" which did not mean right now.

You are going to like the 3.

Take it out of the box.

Unfold the legs

Attach the guide rail .

Attach the fence.

Get to work.

No, I am not trying to be smug.

Unlike the 1080, there is no head scratching.

I don't recall head scratching with the 1080. On the other hand, I'd read John Lucas' material on it beforehand, so I knew I was going to have to cut into it. A bit of a shock, that first cut...
