Hello

I have a ts55 and an of1010, I am concidoring the mft3 table, but one major drawback for me is that the max cutting width is 70cm

a product that I make has a length of 79cm, and I need a cutting capacity slightly longer than the specified maximum of the mft3

Is there any easy workarounds in order to get 10cm extra cutting capacity?

thanks

There is an easy way to get longer cutting capacity...

Just turn the whole cutting setup 90 degrees on the table and use a longer guide rail or put two guide rails together.

This guide shows a quick and easy way to set up the guide rail assembly for the MFT/3. It shows how to set it up for cutting across the short side of the table but it works the same if you want to set up for cutting across the long way. It also includes an easy way to connect two rails.

What Tom described is what I did with two MFT's connected together.  I use this double MFT in my home-based shop, so there is no reason to move it.  Works great.

That looks great

the lacquered mdf boards i will be  cutting/routing is 81cm*61cm, so I will  manage with just one table, I might go for the double version in the future.
