Hello all,

After seeing many of you are make your own version of the MFT table, I decided to also do the same. A while back I built a rolling bench and recently added a nice  Melamine top. I've been fooling around with ways to incorporate my rail to the table similar to the MFT 3 setup, but making the support units has become a pain due to lack of tools to make small
accurate cuts.

I've decided to purchase the front swivel and back support units from the Ekat website, but before making my purchase I wanted to know if I can attach the brackets to a regular incra t-track I plan on attaching to the sides of my table? I looked at the metal profiles that go on the mft table, but if I can save $$ by using my t-tracks that are sitting around I would prefer to go that route.  Anyone ever attempted this? Thanks.

No I can't see  it could work as I have the incra tracks for other purposes and the Festool profile is what you need as you can buy it in 2m lengths and make your own rails.

Thank you for the responses. I will take a look at the links provided and post pictures tonight of what I have so far.

Can you do something like this.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see how he made a fixture that attaches to the t track.

I'm loving this setup since I can build without the profiles. I'm wondering if it can be done with the mft3 support brackets instead of the 1080 brackets since they are less expensive. I've been looking for detailed pics of the mft3 brackets, but only came across the 1080 versions. Can someone please share pics of their mft3 support brackets? Thanks.

If I understand correctly, are you looking for how to attach the MFT3 support brackets to a fixture and then attach the fixture to the T Track?  Check out this link.  This was what I did before I bought an MFT/3.
