Just started a new project to save some space on my small shop and make a modular workbench. if anyone fancy a look ..

Interesting project. Btw the first episode is billed as the third, which is confusing...

I am new to posting on Youtube , not sure how I listed them in wrong order ..

this is the 3rd ,  I hope the 1st and 2nd are correct now.

Hi Andy

I really like the clean lines and simplicity of your design.

Roughly how much did the aluminium extrusions cost?

Did you buy new MFT tops or did you make your own?

Cheers.

Peter

Hello Pete,  I am going to list the sizes when I am finish as I over ordered to save on postage and also have more plain for this unit which I will upload as I go,

but the main unit is around 2300mm(L) by 800mm (h) 660 (d) to give you an idea of size..

I may even create some plans for a small price at the end as I have found there can be a lot of waste with mistakes and new idea alone the way . I will have a router and TS75 on the end section which doesn't have a MFT top as well .  also the Main section will pull away from the wall and have extension from full 2440/1220 sheet goods.

Best
Andy

I used a MDF top bought on Ebay for around £30 each .  was quicker than cutting my self and spot on cut with CNC

I am not sure I am trying to keep the videos around 6/8 mins and show as much as I can, but I keep running out of time working on this..  I forgot how hard it is working on a bench with all my tools all over the place while I try to work and build it :)

I couldn't find any info on building one of these apart from the odd pictures.  but that left me with a lot of guess work..  so I hope by showing it on youtube everyone will be able to see how this can work..

Finally got the Kapex 120 Mounted...  I have order the systainer drawers should be here Tuesday with a bit of luck,
so next need to mod the height of my old stainless tool trolly , then fit the drawer supports ready for the sustainer drawers..

Just add a temporary router top as I had a job that needed doing asap..  I plan on making a better fence and new top when I get done on other stuff

I have to modify my old US pro tool chest to level it with the new Kapex KS120 mitre stand.

An excellent series of videos!  Thanks for sharing.  Looking forward to the next episodes.

Will be uploading the Sustainer Drawer fit tonight.  also there :)

I tried to but I cannot get passed beyond the password I forgot. It said they would send me a temp one, but no results after a few hours. Sorry.
