MFT3

Due to the encouragement and excellent justification for the purchase of an MFT3 by Per, I am now driving a somewhat shiny band new 2008 MFT3.  I could  not find in the catalog an extension for the MFT3, does anyone know if it is still to be offered or was it a non issue with the 800 1089 that they decided not to offer the extension for the MFT3.

To my knowledge, they will not be making an extension.  But, you can easily adapt one of the old ones to the new table.  Check it out:

Hi,

        Is the V groove on the MFT3 the same as the V groove on the Kapex?  Would the Saw Helper tables with the Kapex adapter be attachable to the MFT3?

The V-grooves are the same.  I have taken the crown stops from the Kapex and attached them to the MFT/3 to see if they would fit.  With the T-groove in the stops, it could offer some alternative clamping methods.

Here are a couple of quick photos of the Kapex crown stops on the MFT/3.  You guys are very innovative, I'm sure Jerry Work or someone will come up with a practical application for something like this...

That seems to address one request : provide an accessory to have upper t-tracks on the side extrusions ..

  According to the catalog the FS Rapid clamps fit into the Kapex crown extensions.
