Glad to hear he is still on the right side of the dirt. Hope he is doing well. His published content was very influential in the development of my shop. Can’t thank him enough.

I too would like to know. I have a bunch of his plans and had a number of questions, never got a reply. Love his approach and work.

Yea, i would like to buy the combo plans, but some ppl saying hes not answering, im not sure if i should buy or wait until he answers.
Would like to start to read at least the MF-TC plans, i have some things i would like to try before start building. Since i live in Brazil i have to be sure what i want to build before start, prices here are not very cheap for most parts.
 
As a small scale dairy farmer who must rely on my skills as a woodworker to fill in the income gap I totally get his dilemma. A farm like his is a big operation. At my small scale, running a sawmill business, restoring houses and farming is a lot to juggle and everything suffers during peak times. I can only imagine Tim's dilemma.

All that aside, he's both a talented craftsman and documentary film maker.... That is a great film on farming! Good luck to him going forward.
 
After seeing that I totally respect him even more than I already did.

I agree ! ...I think many of us have done, thru the years, “what needs to be done” I myself had a different career many years ago as a Firefighter.....i just keep thinking what a great shop he’ll have to retire to......Good Luck Tim !
 
Man I cant even imagine how much all that nice farming equipment must have cost! I know nothing about farming but that stuff looked super nice and pretty high end to me!
 
Tim is an impressive woodworker and an impressive young man. I will certainly miss his professional and inspirational videos. I wish him all the best.

I  watched Timoty's presentation and I want to thank [member=18283]RobBob[/member] for the posting. I understand and totally respect Timothy's position. And the fact that he is going to carry on his farming with Organic methods adds even more respect. Having grown up on an uncle's farm (small dairy) in a time when chemicals were not in the picture, I know how hard it is to stay ahead of the weeds and bugs.

I was especially interested in the shot where his weeding tines were guided (controlled) by camera.  How many hours I spent riding behind a iron wheeled F-12 Farmall tractor on a converted tiller (converted from horse drawn to  tractor drawn) and watching corn plants glide by under my watchful eye. There were two pedals that were the steering levers guided by my feet. Timothy, obviously was bitten by the farming bug at a very early age. Such a bug is very difficult to avoid. Much more difficult to shake once bitten.

Anyone purchase a plan lately? I think I might build the MFTC, but don't want to have to go through trouble to get money back.
 
I bought plans about 10 days ago and Tim answered questions next day. He's still providing backup for his plans it seems.

Although I've *still* not got round to actually building my MFTCs, I purchased the wheels used by [member=27804]CWP[/member] for his excellent builds in this thread. Not sure whether they're still available from the site I bought them from as it is down for maintenance, but they're still on eBay...

CWP build is pretty inspirational. Great concept for adjustable workshop.
 
Still going round and round in circles trying to find affordable but good adjustable legs.
Tried some from local Screwfix and there is so much play in the thread that I am going to return them. Any suggestions?
