Mid Century Modern credenza

I made the mistake of sending this thread to my wife and now she wants me to make something similar. I guess I could use the project to justify a bunch of new tool purchases. Right now I don't have the any way to make it!

But seriously, love the project.  Great details and execution.

Maybe you can make a matching retro enclosure for the tv and even install some fake rabbit ears.

"Are the shelves solid cherry or cherry ply?"

They are cherry plywood.

Thanks...that’s what I thought because the edges are so crisp.

This is a well built piece.  Two things that stand out to me are the proportions, especially the size of the base relative to the body and the matching wood grain in the doors.  Are the doors Cherry ply?

Nice job!  Thanks for sharing.

Yes they are with an MDF core...I felt that they would be more stable than laminated wood and it was available in a better grade too. :)

Great work and the style certainly matches the time.
