Mid-mod inspired hi-fi cabinet

Oh, no, you are certainly not the only hoarder. I have a mountain of off-cuts, extra boards, dismantled crate parts, reclaimed barn beams, and more veneer pieces than I can count.
4 years of collecting after losing way more in a fire.
There are more of us here.

I've got a stack < 6" walnut nubs from this project that I'm trying to figure out where to store.  Never know when I might need a tiny piece of walnut with a knot in the middle  [unsure]

[member=8375]Jujigatame[/member] Thanks!

I was going through some pictures the other day, and found a couple I thought might be interesting.  I used the waste from the cord chase, a pentagon-shaped chunk of walnut, to make the pulls.  First, I cut each side on the drill press (this is actually two pentagons back-to-back, because I kept the waste from a failed attempt at the cord chase):

Then I cut it in half with a hand saw and hot glued both pieces to a fixture:

That allowed me to route a pretty large profile relative to the size of the stock:

The rest of the shaping I did by hand.  It's attached by a couple of hardwood pins to the door:

Thanks!  Yeah, a turntable would be super-cool, but I have to keep it simple, or else I won't use it, hence the integrated amp.  The only sources are TV (via eARC) or streaming from Tidal.  It also has room correction DSP, which helps with the less-than-optimal speaker placement.  I have a small sub hooked up too.  Overall, it's a pretty nice package for everyday casual use, IMO.

Stunning work!  I may borrow some of your ideas.  Love the concave curve of the top.  Thank you for providing detail of the pulls.
