Midi Hose Garage too brittle!!!!

I have a midi I purchased during the recondition sale last year.  Today while using the vacuum it tipped over and the hose garage cracked.  I really like the vac and I would buy another one if this one fails.  I know that this has been talked about before on FOG.  Festool really needs to use a different kind of plastic on the hose garages on the Ct vacuums.  The plastic is brittle  and shouldn't break so easy.

Agree.

I really like the CT's but I think they were going down a great path with the modular nature of the old CT's and should have evolved the new units along a similar path.

Regarding the tops .. forget the garage, simply make the top of the motor unit T-Loc compatible and offer a "T-Loc garage" module. Being able to arrange the capacity of your CT in increments of maybe 10, 15 or 20 would be ideal in my mind.
