MIDI Motor replacement, worked, then lost suction.

Any thoughts on what went wrong this time? The vac powers on but when out under suction load it does not have any suction. It did for a week or two then it conked out.

If the motor is running, then perhaps the impeller has come loose from the shaft?

You've checked for hose etc blockages!?  :

Make sure that the hose is not punctured,or the housing where the filter bag is,try to test it withoug bag,and make sure it is closed and does not lose pressure from anywhere.Do you hear any air flowing when you put your hand to block the dust extractor hole?
If it is the new midi,check the filter cleaning mechanism not being broken and clogs the filter air path
