MIDI problems-static and loss of power mid-cut

Bought the midi and from the start seems to have too much static in the hose while operating.  Like I don't want to touch it when I'm ripping down material.  Also when have a long rip, mid-cut I lose power for a second and then it starts back up. I'm not binding or ripping to slow. Has anyone else had these issues before? Thanks

Are you using any third party accessories, like a Dust Deputy?

Are you sure the outlet you're using is properly grounded?

What are you cutting?

    Also what saw are you using , what blade?

    Can you tell if the vac power is cutting out or is it maybe the saw power that is cutting out and thus turning the vac off?
