Hi Guys

Has anyone used or own the Milwaukee cordless jigsaw.

I am thinking about purchasing one for use on worktop & panels, so no need to cut anything over 50mm (2").

I am interested in whether it cuts square, how it cuts in general.

Your thoughts appreciated

I own the Milwuakee Cordless Jigsaw

ummm it does the job and has enough power to cut thick material  but  its only good for rough cutting  only to be honest.

looking at the picture on the corded version it looks like the front end is the same

I have got the reciprocating saw & that works well but I don't know anyone who uses this for any type of square or fine cutting.

Square cuts go for Carvex or Mafell dude

Ill do a test with the milwuakee sometime this week but im pretty sure it cuts miles out of square  but cant remember I dont use it.  I bought it and then the carvex came out and I bought that  and I also have a corded Bosch precision  so the Milwaukee never gets used.

I also have a mains powered Millwaukee jigsaw that I use for kitchen worktop cut-outs.
It's OK, but not brilliant. As soon as the blade starts to lose its sharpness to any degree, it has a tendancy to start to wander.

It is, however, pretty tough. I've had mine for 9 years and other than 1 set of brushes, its still going strong. As I fit kitchens for a living, it does get used a lot.

I've got a Milwaukee corded version. Jigsaw,  no way will it cut as nice as my Festool Trion. I keep it around for cutting metal, thats about it.

Tried this today in 70mm timber and it cut only a 1mm out of square whilst cutting a curve. This was the barrel grip version  still haven't decided what to do
