I made a small wooden carrier that slips onto the back of my Midi for holding the cleaning set.  It goes into the slot where the extra bag is stored.

I can share a photo that you could probably use as inspiration to adapt a shop-made cord containment wrap.

Let me know if you are interested.

I am interested.

Here you go Frank:

On the back of the Midi, there is a extra bag holding chamber.  Inside that chamber are two ridged  strips that go from the top down.

I cut two pieces of 1/4 x 2" Padauk (scraps) about 3" long and then glued them to a piece of 1/2" Maple.  In my case, I drilled holes to allow me to hold the cleaning set.  But this same approach could be used to fashion a cord wrap as well.  With the bag in the Midi and by positioning the two vertical strips to fit between the two ridges, the bracket is very sturdy and I have had no problem with it wanting to move.

Might work for you as well.

Thats really cool Neil, thanks for sharing. We were staring at this issue just this afternoon...

That's not only a good idea, it's quite elegant (especially the choice of materials)...

Great Idea!
I'm thinking this would be perfect for cord storage on the MIDI as well!
