I would like to use dominoes 4x20  in  wood with a thickness of 10 millimeters. Problem is I'm not able to  reach 5 mm. fence heigh
on the fence gauge. Minimum is 6 mm. Is this a minimum value or it's my 500 not perfect ?

6mm is the minimum height on the new fence design of the DF500. The original fence was even higher.

10mm is pretty thin material, and you may have to use some tweaks to the Domino to work with it. For example, the Supplemental Manual describes how to use PVC tube to limit your plunge depth to less than 12mm.

As for centering on the thickness of the 10mm piece, keep in mind that it is not necessary, and in many cases not desired. For example, if these were shelves, then you would want your mortise locations lower in the shelf for maximum strength. This places more of the shelf substrate above the tenon.

Plunge : not necessary PVC tube because with 20mm plunge set and sing 4 mm.router the dimension of the plunge will  be 10 mm,if
I'm not wrong. ( in my  tests  this result is confirmed).
Thanks  now I know that 6 mm. is the minimum fence heigh !  it's a pity when you work on thin pieces - suitable for use with 4 mm.
dominoes.
Thanks to all for answers. I'm a beginner in the Festool world.
