Mobile Mitresaw cabinet

Just semi complete my mobile mitresaw storage cabinet. I used phenolic coated Baltic birch for stability and the time saving of not having to paint and stain I trimmed out the drawers and fence with mahogany scraps I have from previous job. Cheers
I can't take all the credit I used @thepaulkworkbench design and modified to fit my space with the help from Mark @captivecutting. I got some of the awesome quarter sawn mahogany @windsor_plywood_leduc a used the scraps from a commission job to help complete this. Another shout out to Darryl @skookumwood for assisting in glue up of the top and @andyc_8421 for hooking me up with good deal on drawer glides and other scrap mahogany to complete the job.
Still needs doors on the front of the vacuum unit and measuring tape add stop blocks.

I particularly like the phenolic Baltic Birch.  Do you have a yard that carries it locally, or did you have to order it?  If so, what did you order - company, size etc.  I've been looking for a good, reasonably priced source of phenolic plywood, but the only stuff I can find locally is at Menards in Cheyenne, and by all accounts that is nowhere near Baltic Birch quality, and you don't want to risk a project on it - voids and other problems.

Also, did you have to take any special measures to drill the plywood top?  For instance, backing up the holes when drilling to prevent tear out?

The local speciality wood supplier has it here in edmonton, alberta, canada carries it but its kinda pricey at $95/sheet. I looked at time saving the time of having to protect the wood after assembly as i didn't have to want and sand and stain or pain and let dry. Bonus is glue wont stick to it and cleans up a easy with a bit of acetone or mineral spirits.

I had the sheets cut for the top at my buddy cnc shop to save me time. We definitely had problems at first with lots of tear out on the sample cuts but once we found the the right speeds use was no problem, to be on the save side we did use a piece of mdf underneath while cutting and help with a blow out and chiping. the whole jobe took about 4 days gathering all the materials and running around between a few other small jobs.

I found some phenolic Baltic Birch at a Rockler store a few years ago. I  don't know if it's a stock item though.

All that our local Woodcraft carries is smaller pieces.  I wonder what they would charge to order a whole piece.

Just an FYI on the phenolic ply.  WhiteCap Supply carries as regular stock as a concrete formboard.  Whitecap is pretty widespread and the price is much lower than the Rockler sheets- about 50.00/sheet if I recall correctly.  Only comes in black, though.  Anderson Plywood in LA also carries it and will ship it.

I don't think 95 for a 4x8 sheet is a steep price for phenolic, a good veneered ply could run that much. Your MSaw cabinet is great! ....first class! Very nice build...glad to have seen it....thanks for the pics.

the top and saw are detachable but 90% will be just movable around my small shop

Mobility is all relative? Very nice build. I would love to have something like that in the field but my guys would trash it and I hate to fire someone over it.
