Just finished first phase of this stair build.  I started with 9/4 rough sawn hard maple.  After these pictures I disassembled the whole thing for the painter.  The railing will be dark and treads light.  The domino xl and Ts75 got a workout plus all my festool sanders.

You need to reduce the size of your images.  That is the issue.  A compromise is to do fewer in each post.

Nice design and great execution!  Did you draw up the design, too?

How wide are the stairs?  Is there enough room or other access for moving furniture upstairs?

Thanks for sharing the photos.  Lots of inspiration!

Thanks.  Yes. it is way easier to post to facebook.  Thanks for attaching the pictures.  The stairs ended up being 39 inches railing to wall.  This home has a walk out basement so stairs should only be used for traffic, furniture can be moved in a patio door.  I can't take credit for the design, the homeowner gave the builder a picture and he had a local welding company do the steel fabrication.  I milled, glued up and installed.  Treads and landing have 10x50 dominos and the railing that attaches to the treads are 12x100.  I totally disassembled and sanded so the painter can stain and finish.  The railing will be dark and treads light.  This was a fun project and I look forward to finishing it up.
