More Hose Questions

I see that others have started topics on hose size, but I didn't want to hijack a thread...
I have a CT26 which I think comes with the 27mm hose. For example, I have a Bosch 6" sander (1250DEVS) and it would normally attach to a 19mm hose. I'd also like to hook up my miter saw and table saw outlets to the CT from time to time. What supplier do you guys use to adapt the Festool hose sizes with the outlets of your other tools?  Got any favorites, or maybe some tricks?

  Yes the vacs come with the D27 hose. Have you tried connecting it to the  Bosch?  For the miter saw ( at least with the Kapex) the D36 hose does the best job. For a table saw  I think you will want to go with a D50 or 2 1/4" shop vac hose.

Yeah, I've tried hooking up the CT26 to my Bosch, but they don't like each other. The Bosch is a little too big to fit inside the hose. This seems like it would be a common problem, but I haven't found a good source for adapting the 19mm Bosch outlet to the 27mm Festool hose, for example. Could this really be a gap in the market or am I just not searching in the right place?

The Fein Step Adaptor may help you to connect some of your tools to the Festool D27 hose.

For your larger dust ports, you can swap-out the tool-end fitting on your Festool hose(s) with the rotating connector for that size hose -- this gives you a hose with the same fittings on either end.  Festool's rotating connectors are compatible with any brand fitting that accepts the ShopVac 2-1/2" tapered hose fittings, so you should be able to find other products to adapt tools to your Festool hoses.
