I watched the video on adjusting and calibrating the lr32 system. My problem is that the plate will not fit onto the router. I Installed the centering mandrel. Removed the knobs from plate( I understand that they are for the 1010). Aligned the notch on plate to notch on router. The problem is that the indexing handle is preventing the router to lay flat on plate.  I also see that the two screws will not line up properly. The date on my router is 02/07. Is it possible that I need an adapter. I just purchased the lr32 last week

I would give Festool Service a call.  It could be that you have an older base plate on the router, given it is 10 years old.

I seem to recall that they changed the 1400 base around that time to accommodate the LR32 plate.

You don't line up the notches with the OF1400.  Line up the notches with the OF1010.  Rotate the base plate so that the screw holes line up.  [wink]

Is your LR-32 kit relatively new?  At one point in time, if my memory serves correctly, there were two different models - one for the 1010 and one for the 1400.  They were combined into one that could be used for both.

Thank you all for the quick responses. I did try rotating plate around to see if i could get the screws to line up. no luck. I purchased the lr32 system last week. I will contact Festool and let you know the results
