I never saw this coming.  We have been married for forty some years and our wants and needs have been met.  We usually get something small for each other to have something to open.  We are just plan saturated with stuff.  She surprised me with a SawStop job site saw.

Nice! You'll love the saw, its a nice unit. Conversely from your post above, when I came home with mine it nearly cost me my marriage. Well, not quite, but it did earn me near on a month in the dog house.

If the dog house is large enough for the saw you're a lucky man.  I think my wife got me the saw so I would use it in the garage shop and not track saw dust through the house to my basement shop.

For those of us with limited space, a job site saw is the perfect compliment to a track saw.

I have had a full size 3hp cabinet saw in the past and the above combination works well for me.  I do use a 6" dado set on my job site table saw (Bosch).

You're a lucky man! You can count your blessings and your fingers!!

My wife was at a show with me and bought it because she was afraid I might cut my fingers off. So I had to sell a 3HP cabinet saw.

My partner at work just cut off half his thumb a couple of days ago.  Bet he wishes he had a S
