My wife wants a "barn door" to cover the opening to our walk in closet. But she doesn't want it to look like it belongs on a barn. So we settled on a craftsman style 3 panel door.
Rails and Styles are made out of pine, panels are 1/2" birch ply.
Used dominoes for the joints.
Primed with Zinser BIN shellac based primer
Paint is General Finishes Milk Paint (Color is linen).
I'm not at H&K's level, but he has a lot more practice (and does really impressive work!).
It has been a learning experience and things are shaping up nicely.
Hardware will be delivered tomorrow. I think I'll add one more coat of paint on the front side, and then I'll paint the back.
Probably be done in a couple of weeks.
