In the market for a Festool Jig saw, doesn't have to be the newest model, I just want to make small cuts that I can't do with my track saw.

Thanks Guys

$275 is the current list price.    Click on the link in my first response for all the items it comes with.  [wink]

and since it's a used tool how much would you like for it?

I think he's just sharing info about Festool, not trying to sell, but maybe I'm wrong. FWIW, my Carvex is incredibly better than my Dewalt jigsaw, available at a Festool dealer near you or online :)

I'm not looking to sell mine.   [scared]

I was just trying to help by showing you what the PS300 can do.  If you're looking to buy a used one then you should place a Willing To Buy ad in the Classified section.   If you're looking to buy a new one then there are several good Festool dealers here on the FOG that would more then happy to help you with a purchase.

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.   But you didn't specify if you wanted to buy a used one or new one…... [embarassed]

Trion is a great saw at a very reasonable Festool price. But if you want all the accessories or a cordless saw, you will need to spend the big bucks on a Carvex.

Lucky you! Wish my Dewalt would die. Perhaps I'll have to just sell it on CL...

I've recently gone from a Dewalt DW331 to the corded Carvex. There was nothing wrong with the Dewalt, it was and still is a perfectly serviceable saw. My reason for upgrading was my dissatisfaction with dust extraction and straight cuts.

It's a little ironic really that the Dewalt gets rid of dust from the cut line quite effectively, the only problem with it is that it shoot the debris forward via a stream of air aimed forward of the blade. The saw is now relegated to metal and rough lumber.

I understand that the Trion has similar blade guides to the Carvex, if so then it is a reasonable upgrade comparative to a Dewalt in my opinion. Can't comment on the dust extraction on the Trion however.

I would add that the multiple base option on my Carvex has proved it's worth several times and the strobe effect is superb for a clear sight of the cut line.
